Apple launched the new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini
Yesterday night was a big night for all the Apple fans and consumers. Apple announced a bunch of products, like iPad, iPad Mini, Apple Watch Series 7, and iPhone 13 Series in the launch event. Both iPads and iPhone 13 Series will be coming up with an improved camera setup. The new generation iPhone consists of four devices, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max. In this article, we are interested in talking about the new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini.
iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini: Specifications and Pricing
iPhone 13 and 13 Mini are almost the same pair of devices with a difference in dimensions. iPhone 13 Mini comes with a 5.4-inch all-screen OLED Display, whereas the iPhone 13 sports a 6.1-inch panel and both of them are Super Retina XDR Display. In the front, the notch has shrunk as compared to the previous generation.
Along with a bigger size, the iPhone 13 comes with a bigger battery. Though Apple has not given us any numbers, it claims to provide us with up to 19 hours of video playback. iPhone 13 Mini will be giving us up to 17 hours of video playback. These were the differences in both of the variants. They both will be supporting wireless charging up to 15W via MagSafe.
Both of these devices sport the latest Apple A15 Bionic Chipset, which has a 6-core CPU, 4-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine. The main highlight of this chipset is enhanced performance along with a more powerful Neural Engine. This time, we won’t have any 64GB storage options available. We are getting 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage options.
At the back, we are getting a dual-camera setup. It consists of a 12MP wide-angle camera with ƒ/1.6 aperture, a 12MP Ultra Wide lens with ƒ/2.4 aperture and 120° field of view and a True Tone flash. It supports 2x optical zoom and up to 5x digital zoom. They have also introduced Sensor‑shift optical image stabilisation(OIS).
When it comes to video recording, you can record in the Cinematic mode in 1080p at 30fps. You can also record HDR videos with Dolby Vision in 4K at 60 fps. With the new sensor-shift optical image stabilisation, you can record videos smoothly without any disturbance.
In the front, we are getting a 12MP camera with ƒ/2.2 aperture.
Pricing and Availability
Both iPhone 13 and 13 Mini supports 5G connectivity and comes with an IP68 rating, making it Splash, Water and Dust Resistant. The devices will be coming with iOS 15 out of the box. This time also, we won’t be getting any charger inside the box. We are getting five colour options (Product)Red, Starlight, Midnight, Blue and Pink.
